This construction noise safety checklist template helps site managers and operatives ensure that noise hazards on construction sites are identified, assessed and controlled in line with the Control of Noise at Work Regulations 2005 and HSE guidance.

It covers all key areas including risk assessment, worker training, hearing protection zones, equipment noise controls, health surveillance and monitoring. The checklist follows the ten‑dimension safety framework and references official guidance such as the HSE Managing noise risks page.

  • Pre‑start checks – confirm noise risks are controlled before work begins.
